Completion of this program leads to a college studies certificate (ACS).
The ACS diploma is a qualification awarded in Quebec by CEGEPs and some private colleges following successful completion of a programme authorised by the Ministry of Higher Education, created specifically for an adult clientele and reflecting the current realities of the labour market.
The student who is pursuing training in English, without a certificate of eligibility for instruction in English, must have a sufficient level of knowledge of French in order to obtain an AEC under the application of article 88.0.18 of the Charter of the French Language.

Program Description
A college diploma in multimedia integration techniques can be particularly beneficial for those who wish to diversify their skills and adapt them to different sectors of the multimedia industry. This program provides students with fundamental knowledge in graphic design, research, programming techniques, video and audio production, 2D and 3D animation, analysis methods, and quality control.
Among the various niches within the industry are companies that create video games, special effects for film, graphic and visual arts, and animation. The main responsibility of a multimedia integrator is to assemble all the content elements (text, images, animations, video, audio, etc.) of multimedia applications.
Admission Requirements

Canadian students
To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- You have interrupted your full-time studies or pursued full-time post-secondary education for at least two (2) consecutive semesters or a school year
- You are concerned by an agreement concluded between the college and an employer, or you benefit from a government program
- You have interrupted your full-time studies for one (1) semester and have continued your full-time postsecondary studies for one semester
- You have a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES)

International students

You can apply for admission to this program if you meet the college's academic requirements and all of the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in a related or equivalent field
- IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no score below 5.5 in any module OR IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no score below 6.0 OR Duolingo* test score of 105 to 110
- Language requirements: minimum score of 88 on the TOEFL (Internet-based test, with no score below 20 in any section), or a minimum score of 59 on the PTE Academic – Postgraduate/Accelerated Programs
- Having obtained at least 55% in previous university studies
*Duolingo tests have been set up to compensate for the closure of IELTS test centers and to promote social distancing for our future students.
Technical Requirements
Starting with Fall 2024, Cestar Collège is implementing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy.
Here are the minimum suggested technical requirements for laptops at Cestar Collège:
- Microsoft Windows 11
- 11th Generation Intel Core i5 processor or AMD Ryzen 5 5000 series
- Minimum 8GB (16GB preferable) memory
- Webcam functionality
- Audio capability (speakers and a quality headset/microphone for in-class use)
- 512 GB or larger Solid-State Drive (SSD)
- Wireless Network adapter supporting IEEE 802.11g/n/ac
- 15" screen or greater (recommended resolution 1920x1080)
- Minimum 1 full size USB ports (USB 3.0A), 1 or more USB-C Port
- Virus protection software required
- Optional: 10/100/1000 Ethernet RJ45 connection or a USB to Ethernet adapter
The College has established that a Windows-based PC is required. Apple or Chromebook devices are not suitable for Cestar Collège programs. The College provides registered students with wireless Internet access and access to O365 software downloads.
