Course Description
Do you have a brilliant idea for a film, but you're struggling to format it properly? Have you always wanted to finish that feature film script but couldn't get past the first act? Completing a script in any genre according to industry standards and understanding how to work on your plot points to move your story forward are fairly simple concepts that anyone can learn.
In Screenwriting 101, students would spend 10 weeks learning how to format and structure a feature film screenplay, using industry standards and the structural guidelines of award-winning filmmaker Chris Bavota. He would guide them through the concepts and techniques he uses daily to complete a feature film screenplay, including how to develop strong character arcs, moving plot points, realistic dalogue, and exciting action sequences.
By the end of this course, you will have acquired all the necessary skills to write a complete feature film screenplay that will excite and engage your audience.
